This 4×4 12G-SDI Video Desktop Router from Matrix Switch boasts four inputs and four outputs with reclocking support for standard 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI rates, including single-link 4K and UHD formats. It automatically bypasses non-standard rates between 20 Mb/s and 12 Gb/s and passes all SDI-embedded audio/ancillary data. Each output can be independently muted, and vertical sync switching is facilitated via the sync reference input, supporting tri-level sync and NTSC/PAL blackburst signals.

The built-in webpage interface allows for easy control and configuration via PC or mobile device. Alongside Matrix Switch Corporation’s MASCOT protocol, support for common third-party protocols is available. Control interfaces include USB, RS-485, RS-232, and TCP/IP over Ethernet. Optional Matrix Switch remote panels can be employed for remote control, allowing operation over TCP/IP at virtually any distance. The built-in button panel provides an alternative interface for direct manipulation of the matrix routing state.
