myMix MDAI-16 16-Channel Input Expander and Digital Interface Package

The MADI-16 16-Channel Input Expander and Digital Interface Package from myMix is ideal for when you are using more than 16 channels from a console in MADI format. The MADI-16 is a package consisting of one IEX16L-A and the RME ADI-648 MADI to ADAT interface. For more than 16 channels, you can add one more IEX16L-A per 16 channels for a maximum of 64 channels. MADI, ADAT, and the myMix protocol are all 24-bit/48kHz signals so no audio signal quality is lost due to sample rate conversion. The myMix system generates its own clock, so there is no need to feed any master clock. You can simply connect the MADI cable to the ADI-648 input and use TOSLINK cables to forward the signals to the IEX16L-A. If you use multiple IEX16L-A’s with the ADI-648, you may want to consolidate them with a switch to return a single CAT5/6 cable to the main switch, such as the myMix Power8 or Multi 8.
