TheĀ 411-TBL-10 Stereoscopic MicroscopeĀ fromĀ National OpticalĀ is a versatile user-friendly stereoscopicĀ optical instrument designed to facilitate teaching at theĀ high school level and is also capable of handling a wide range of tasks for hobbyists and researchers alike. This updated model features a dual tungsten illumination systemĀ that provides top (incidental) and bottom (transmitted)Ā specimen lighting options. The student-proof design decreases the likelihood of lost parts or mishandling.
This model of theĀ 409 series microscopeĀ is configured withĀ inclined 10x eyepieces, achromatic 2x and 4x objectives mounted on a rotating turret that locks in place, andĀ rack and pinionĀ focusing with slip clutch and tension adjustment. The included 80mm reversible black and white contrast plate and 80mm frosted glass stage provides operators with several viewing options that compliment the multi-angle illumination system.
