The aluminum amplifier has been designed for research, military communications, and laboratory testing applications, and it provides 50-ohm RF input and output, over 50 dB typical gain, and up to 1W RF power output. It supports transmitters in the 40 MHz to 10 GHz broadband frequency range. This unit features SMA female input and output and it requires a separately available 12V power supply.
