It offers a short throw of 0.44:1, which means the projector can conveniently sit extremely close to a wall or screen. In fact, from only 4′ away you can experience a display up to 130″ in size. It also has the added benefit of minimizing shadows with the reduced space between wall and projector. You can project from a variety of sources via the dual HDMI inputs, which can deliver up to 4K quality in even brightly lit rooms. This is thanks in part to NEC’s processing and upscaling chip that intelligently boosts the 1920 x 1200 native resolution.

Maintenance Free
By using a laser light with a lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours, the NP-PE456USL is essentially maintenance free.
Audio Options
Thanks to the built-in speakers supplying 16W of audio power, the projector can emit audio without the need for external speakers. However, if you do connect external speakers, you can adjust the volume using the included remote control.
Image Correction
Even if the projector is at an angle to the screen, you can use cornerstone correction to correct the image horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.
Installation Freedom
You can get creative with how you install the NP-PE456USL. It supports portrait mode for 10:16 portrait images when mounted on its side. It also delivers tilt-free installation with its ability to rotate 360° and point up or down as needed.
Network Management
The projector conveniently connects to a local network via a wired RJ45 connection (Wireless Lan Adapter is optional), allowing for remote network-based control using the Crestron Roomview management system. This gives you various capabilities, including the ability to switch the power on and off for multiple projectors connected to the network.
Direct Power Off
If the projector accidentally and suddenly loses power, the lamp is protected as the fan continues to run until it is properly cooled. In addition, internal sensors monitor the lamp temperature and will preview it from powering on.
