The Shure MX412 Microflex Gooseneck microphone is an installation mic with a 12″ adjustable goosneck for positioning. The mic is well suited for installation in a desk, conference table, or podium and includes mounting hardware.

The mic offers an interchangeable condenser microphone cartridge designed for easy replacement and available in cardioid, supercardioid, and omnidirectional polar patterns. The interchangeable cartridges offer wide frequency response and accurate sound reproduction for a broad variety of applications in houses of worship, courtrooms, conference centers, and similar environments. This model features a supercardioid capsule that focuses the audio capture in a tight 115° pattern in front of the capsule, picking up less background sound and helping to reduce feedback problems.

Microflex microphones features high sensitivity and balanced, transformerless output for maximum immunity to electromagnetic hum and RF interference, even over long cable runs. This model features an attached preamp and also includes a silent mute switch with an LED indicator.
