The SmartAVI DVX-Multi is a DVI-D, USB 1.1, RS232 and Stereo Audio KVM extender capable of extending up to 275 feet from the source. It is ideal for creating a KVM console for a computer that is in a remote location. The DVX-Multi uses three CAT6 Shielded Twisted Pair cables to extend signals up to 275 feet. It features fully transparent USB 1.1 support, allowing any USB 1.1 device to work seamlessly. The RS232 signal extension allows for the control of display device functions such as powering off to save energy. The SmartAVI DVX-Multi supports DVI-D resolutions up to 1920×1200 and is fully compatible with Mac, PC and Linux operating systems.
