Extends fiber connection from 250m to 10km
The HXCE-FB70 is an extension module for the fiber connection between the CA-FB70 optical fiber adaptor and HXCU-FB70 optical fiber CCU. It receives power via a fiber from the HXCU-FB70. It then connects to the CA-FB70 with a single mode fiber cable. In this case, it can extend the extension distance from 250m to 250m + 10km if the CA-FB70 is powered locally. The HXCE-FB70 is designed to work with the HXC-D70 and PMW-320/350/400/500 camcorders.
Full HD picture quality and connection for all signals
The HXCE-FB70 provides the excellent picture images as well as flexible integration and the possibility to extend the operation with all signals (Tally, Intercom, Video Return and Prompter) in full HD.
Optical fiber connection
The HXCE-FB70 helps ensure the best picture quality and easy integration using optical fiber connection for distances up to 250m with power supply or up to 10km with single mode fiber and local power supply.
Operates with CA-FB70 and HXCU-FB70 for greater flexibility
The HXCE-FB70 can be located between the CA-FB70 optical fiber adaptor and HXCU-FB70 optical fiber CCU when power supply is required for the CA-FB70 attached to the HXC-D70 camera or PMW-320/350/400/500 camcorders, or when the long distance signal transmission is required between the CA-FB20 and HXCU-FB70.

Very compact design and lightweight
The compact unit makes it easy to position in any available space in proximity of the event, while remaining inconspicuous. It is easy to carry, with a handle to help with speedy deployment and set up.
Connector options
The HXCE-FB70 is supplied with 2x optical CON DUO connectors as standard. It is possible to adopt Lemo-type connectors as an optional alternative, using the HKC-LC02 Lemo-type fiber connector kit with the HXCU-FB70 / HXCE-FB70, or the HKC-LC01 Lemo-type fiber connector kit with the CA-FB70 / HXCE-FB70.
