Sony SRG-300SE 1080p Desktop & Ceiling Mount Remote PTZ Camera
Sony SRG300SE 1080p Desktop & Ceiling Mount Remote PTZ Camera, is suitable for medium to large venues such as lecture halls, auditoriums, houses of worship, and stadiums. The unit consists of the pan/tilt module and the camera head and lens. The SRG300SE captures HD video in 720p, 1080i, or 1080p at up to 59.94. It features a 1/2.8″ Exmor CMOS sensor providing low light sensitivity of 1.4 lux. The camera comes with Sony’s Wide-D for wide dynamic range, enhancing the image with View-DR, while XDNR provides digital noise reduction in both moving and still images.
The SRG300SE is suitable for use on a desk, mounted to a tripod, or you can mount it to a ceiling using the included brackets. The camera also features an Image Flip option, which simplifies setting up the camera when it is mounted upside down. It features remote control operation of pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, shutter speed, and gain.
Remote operation is a major component of the SRG300SE’s design, and the camera supports VISCA control protocols, as well as RS-232 and RS-422. You can program the camera with up to 16 preset positions, which is useful for repetitive events and productions. The small size and remote operation capabilities of the SRG300SE allow for placement where a manually operated camera and operator can not go.
Simultaneous streaming
The camera can simultaneously output 1080/60p baseband video through 3G-SDI and as a H.264 compressed video/audio stream via IP. This makes the SRG-300E ideal for webcasting and simultaneous recording of conferences, lectures, seminars, and other live events.
Clearer pictures in any lighting conditions
See every presenter or conference participant more clearly. The 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS image sensor captures smooth, crisply detailed, Full HD (1920 x 1080 60p) images with extremely low noise ā even in low light conditions where other cameras struggle. High frame rate (60fps) operation ensures smoother, more fluid reproduction of moving subjects.
Unique to Sony, View-DR technology expands dynamic range for clear images under harsh backlighting with extremes of light and dark in the same scene. XDNR technology reduces image noise for crisp reproduction of still and moving objects in poorly illuminated rooms.
Versatile connectivity and mount options for easy operation
Image E-flip gives extra operating flexibility, allowing the camera to be sited on a boardroom table-top or ceiling-mounted while maintaining proper image orientation.
Support for RS-232C/RS-422 protocols allows easy connection with a wide range of peripheral products. The camera can also be controlled via VISCA protocols over a standard IP network. Users can store and instantly recall up to 256 camera positions from a networked PC and web browser.
Enhanced audio quality with equalizer and auto lip-sync function
Audio from a connected microphone (optional) can be sweeted using the on-board equalizer and auto level control for greater intelligibility. Unwanted signal delays between audio and video are compensated by the auto lip-sync function.
