The DiskStation DS723+ is designed for easy expansion so that it can adapt to your changing needs. This includes installing up to 32GB of ECC DDR4 memory and a 10G network upgrade module. The Synology DiskStation DS723+ is powered by a 2.6 GHz AMD Ryzen R1600 dual-core processor with a 3.1 GHz boost speed and 2GB of ECC DDR4 memory to support fast and reliable data transfers. You can improve performance by installing up to a 32GB ECC DDR4 SO-DIMM memory module.
Network Connectivity
The two Gigabit Ethernet ports may be bonded using link aggregation, providing automatic network failover and load balancing. You may also add a 10G Network Upgrade Module to increase your bandwidth with compatible network devices.
Capacity Expansion
Connecting a separately available DX517 expansion unit to the eSATA port allows for a maximum of seven storage drives. External drives may also be connected to the USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port.
