TP-Link TL-SG1218MPE Overview

Expand your office or business network capacity with the JetStream TL-SG1218MPE 18-Port Gigabit PoE+ Compliant Managed Switch from TP-Link. This managed switch features 18 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 16 of which provide up to 30W PoE+ with a 250W budget to operate compatible devices such as IP security cameras, access points, and VoIP phones. The switch’s built-in power management system will automatically turn off lower priority ports to ensure high-priority devices remain powered and to protect against power overload.

There are also two RJ45 / SFP combo ports for Gigabit-speed uplinks. With a 36 Gb/s switching capacity and a 26.78 Mpps forwarding rate, this switch delivers fast and efficient data transfers. Network administrators can take advantage of QoS tools to prioritize and optimize traffic. The web-based utility also allows you to monitor traffic in addition to other services. The TL-SG1218MPE includes a rack mounting kit, but it may also be mounted on a desktop.
