Simultaneous Local and Remote Support for 2 Users The B072-008-1-IP enables control of multiple computers from either a local console or a remote location by offering simultaneous support for one local and one remote user. With simultaneous local/remote support, users can each access a different port on the KVM at the same time.Access Servers and Control PDUs Anywhere with Built-In IP Remote Access CapabilityIP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations and equipment reboots from any location using a standard Web browser or multi-platform client software. The B072-008-1-IP also lets you add IP PDUs as devices that can be controlled by the KVM. Users can assign individual ports on the KVM to a PDU port to Power Cycle or Power Off/On the computer/server connected to that port.
Supports Multiple Platforms The B072-008-1-IP supports both PS/2 and USB server connections (Tripp Lite B078-101 Series server interface units and Cat5 patch cables required; sold separately), and almost any platform can be accommodated.Simple, Flexible Network ControlThe B072-008-1-IP eases multi-server management in data centers, server rooms and other high-density environments. An advanced, high-resolution 1600 x 1200 on‑screen display (OSD) provides a graphical user interface with a variety of management tools (for remote sessions, the B072-008-1-IP supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080). Users may also select a connected computer using on-console pushbuttons or keyboard hotkey commands. Two LEDs per KVM port indicate when a computer is connected, powered on and selected.
Secure Every ConnectionThe B072-008-1-IP offers three levels of password protection. Remote authentication support is provided via RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory, and the unit incorporates the most advanced encryption technologies: 128-bit SSL and HTTPS.
