For users and system administrators that need the responsiveness and control when working directly with a computer, but also need to be able to work remotely, or with computers in different locations, the Avocent HMX 5100T High-Performance KVM Transmitter with DVI-D & Audio SFP from VERTIV provides access to your system’s computers via Category cable. With this transmitter, you can locate your computer hardware in a separate environmentally controlled area, and place your user workstations in a more human user friendly environment, protecting your hardware while the user remains comfortable.

The transmitter supports video and USB functionality, so it is just like you are working with the actual computer hardware, whether running video editing or broadcasting software, USB devices, or administrating the network and computers. The transmitter supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, features a single USB-Type B port and one system audio input port for computer notification audio.

Broadcast and Video Production
The HMX 5100T KVM offers one DVI video connection, supporting resolutions of 1920 x 2000. It can support a variety of single-link and dual-link video resolutions, convert video to analog and scale in single port increments by simply adding a transmitter or receiver.
