Add an auto-switching extension to your A/V equipment in a classroom or meeting room with this 4-Input 4K HDBaseT Switching Extender with USB 2.0, Ethernet, IR, CEC, RS-232 from WyreStorm. This versatile extender features four video inputs, including VGA with 3.5mm audio, DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB-C, and it can automatically switch sources using CEC triggering based on the active device. The HDBaseT output can extend your video up to 328′ to a separately available receiver and provide extended KVM capabilities. It also features condition-based relays to send trigger signals to motorized devices such as projector screens and blinds, for full meeting or class A/V control.

Switching Extender
The SW-510-TX brings a wide range of premium features into one powerful meeting space solution. Supporting USB routing to both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, this extender accepts HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3.1 sources with a VGA + audio input for legacy devices. Additionally, the SW-510-TX adds support for 4K content and HDCP 2.2 protected content.
Additional Receiver Inputs
When the meeting room is in an idle state, the receiver can switch to either of its HDMI inputs, which can be used for anything from a signage player to a satellite receiver, keeping the screen active and displaying content. These inputs can also be triggered manually at any time should a set-top box such as a Chromecast or Apple TV be set up for screen mirroring.
Condition-Based RX Relays
With autonomy in mind, this “meeting-room-in-a-box” can be configured to automatically trigger motorized devices within the room. The relays will open or close depending on the status of the transmitter, meaning that upon a source connection being made, the meeting room will come to life with projector screens appearing and window blinds closing.
USB 2.0 Passthrough
HDBaseT 2.0 provides the addition of USB 2.0 pass-through, offering not only KVM functionality for extension of a keyboard/mouse or touchscreen, but also full data transfer capabilities. Allowing two host devices to be connected, the extender can route USB traffic depending on the currently selected source at the receiver.
