Avocent USB to DB-9F Adapter – Keep Serial Ports Working
When you have an older piece of equipment, it may use a port that’s no longer available on your computer. This is sometimes the case for servers where a DB-9F port is used to control a server. Convert your old-style serial port into a USB port with the Avocent USB to DB-9F adapter, which can accomplish the same thing with a newer-style port. While the data transfer rate will be the same as a DB-9F port, at least it will fit in your computer.
