Overview

Gain uniform access to both networks and storage with the Cisco 32-port fabric interconnect. The 6332 fabric interconnect is the management and communication backbone for Cisco servers. All servers attached to 6332 fabric interconnects become part of the highly-available management domain.

Highly-scalable architecture

Cisco Fabric Extender technology scales more chassis in one unified system without additional complexity. The result is that customers can eliminate dedicated chassis management and blade switches, and reduce cabling.

Virtual-machine-optimized services

Cisco Data Center Virtual Machine Fabric Extender technology helps enable a consistent operational model and visibility between physical and virtual environments. The technology also simplifies enforcement of security and network policy, when moving virtual machines across hosts.
