Designed to meet the demands of the densest data center environments, the high-performance PowerEdge C1100 offers massive memory and storage support in a space efficient 1U form factor for Web 2.0, memcache and Web analytics environments.

The PowerEdge C1100 supports two Intel® Xeon® 5500/5600 series processors and 18 DDR3 high performance DIMMs. With its flexible chassis options, the PowerEdge C1100 is capable of supporting up to 4 x 3.5” or 10 x 2.5” hot-plug HDDs (SAS/SATA/SSD), in addition to a true x16 PCI Express slot and two dedicated mezzanine connectors for SAS and 10Gb Ethernet (GbE) connectivity.

Maximum memory flexibility
The PowerEdge C1100 provides the maximum memory flexibility possible in a dense, industry standard 1U form factor. The Intel® Xeon® 5500/5600 series processors has more than doubled memory capacity over previous architectures, providing 18 DDR3 DIMM sockets. The large number of sockets enables support for massive memory capacity up to 192GB.

More hard drives in 1.7 inches
At only 1U (1.7”) high, the PowerEdge C1100 supports 4 x 3.5” or 10 x 2.5” hot-plug hard drives. Choose from high capacity SATA, high performance 6Gb SAS, or enterprise class SLC SSDs to create the optimal storage solution for your applications.

Save power and increase efficiency
The PowerEdge C1100’s dual redundant or single 650W high-efficiency power supply options increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs.

Select Samsung’s latest low-voltage high-density DDR3 Green Memory technology to achieve even more power savings. These DIMMs provide more than 70% power savings over previous generation memory solutions.

PowerEdge C server line
