IPEVO VZ-R HDMI/USB Dual Mode 8MP Document camera is a real-time image capturing device. It can capture materials such as documents, textbooks, artwork, devices, or 3D objects. Connect it to a TV, monitor, or projector via HDMI, and you’ll be able to stream live images of your materials to a big screen, skipping the need for a computer.

IPEVO VZ-R Overview

Share either HDMI or USB high-resolution video to livestream your presentations and scan documents in teaching applications using the emerald green IPVEO VZ-R Dual-Mode HDMI and USB Document Camera. Its 8MP CMOS sensor can capture up to 3264 x 2448 USB video or 1920 x 1080 HDMI video. The USB-C port works both as a video output and also accepts power for the camera when outputting video over HDMI.
High-Quality Images, Built-In Features
  • The 8MP sensor features an Ambarella system-on-a-chip (SoC) for improved details and image processing. Enjoy faster autofocus speed, improved noise reduction, and natural color reproduction
  • Autofocus makes switching between materials efficient and minimizes interruptions.
  • The camera head features a built-in LED light for use in dark classrooms. A microphone is also integrated into the camera’s design and can be used when connected via USB.
Direct HDMI Connection
No need for a computer to facilitate classroom or conference room sharing thanks to the VZ-R’s HDMI output. Connect the HDMI port directly to a TV, monitor, or projector of your choice to stream images of your materials live without a middleman.
USB Mode
An additional USB-C port with included cable allows you to connect the VZ-R to a macOS, PC, or Chromebook computer for work-from-home sharing. Live images captures in USB mode are streamed to your computer screen and can be projected larger to a connected screen or projector via your computer. Use with a computer expands the VZ-R’s compatibility to a variety of software such as the IPEVO Visualizer and OBS, or platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Adjustable and Durable Camera Body
A swiveling head and multi-jointed stand allows you to adjust the camera and capture images from different heights, angles, and orientations. The VZ-R has a small footprint with detachable stand for increased stability while saving desktop space. Fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic reinforces the arm for a durable design while remaining lightweight.
Onboard Camera Control
Tactile buttons on the camera stand make for intuitive real-time adjustment to settings like exposure, focus, and zoom. Other controls include toggling the LED light on and off, cycling through video filters, and rotating your image.
