When using mini-GBICs with this product, mini-GBICs with revision “B” or later (product number ends with the letter “B” or later, e.g., J4858B, J4859C) are required. When mini-GBICs are inserted in any mini-GBIC slot of a J9538A, this limits the operating temperature range of the chassis to 32F to 104F (0C to 40C).
