The 4×4 HDBaseT UHD 4K60 Matrix with Audio De-Embed & 3 Receivers Kit from WyreStorm includes a powerful plug-and-play 4×4 HDMI matrix switcher/transmitter with a compact, easy-to-install chassis and three HDBaseT-to-HDMI receivers. Use it to independently route four 4K video sources to four displays with an extended signal up to 115′ away from the transmitter. It supports CEC signaling, PoH for the receivers, A/V mute, and SmartEDID. Audio can be extracted via the four digital 5.1 S/PDIF coaxial ports for distribution to an external audio system.

4K and HDR Support
The 4×4 kit can handle current video content up to 4K60 4:2:0, covering a majority of current source devices and even supporting 10-bit HDR content at up to 30Hz and multi-channel audio. Powerful HDBaseT technology sends this, IR control, and PoH (Power-over-HDBaseT) for the included receivers up to 115′.
Audio De-Embedding
With audio functionality to match its video capability, the 4×4 kit has the ability to extract audio signals from the output, following the zone. Having S/PDIF connectivity means having the flexibility to send multi-channel 5.1 audio to local AVR’s or downmix to stereo using the optional EXP-CON-DAC-D.
CEC Triggering
Working automatically on signal presence or triggered via the API, this 4×4 kit can send power trigger commands to all compatible connected screens or projectors, meaning an integrated autonomous control solution.
A/V Mute Function
Certain applications in the residential, education, and commercial markets don’t always require a source to be routed through to an output. The 4×4 kit makes it possible to “mute” the video output as well as the audio, meaning that the HDMI signals to the zones can be independently switched off via the API.
