The Recordex USA SimplicityCam SC13zAF Document Camera offers a digital zoom and autofocus capabilities to ensure a sharp and consistent image with proper coverage. The Kensington slot and steel security base plate ensure security. The camera’s built-in microphone and free XSight software allow you to record video content easily. The software is compatible with Microsoft Windows and macOS. The camera connects to your computer via the included USB 3.0-compatible cable, which supplies power to the camera as well. Capture 13MP photos and zoom in on objects or documents with a -2 to 16x digital zoom. You can also adjust the arm and head angle to bring the camera up to 6x closer to focus on fine details.

Two integrated LED lights, one in the arm and one on the camera head, feature 5 brightness modes, and it is always aimed at documents for illumination no matter what the ambient light levels. The camera can capture an area of 20 x 15″ when aimed at documents. The camera itself flips up, so you can use it to capture video of subjects. You can capture 1920 x 1080 video at up to 60 fps. Sound is captured via a built-in mic. The freestanding camera can be bolted to a flat surface via the two through holes on the steel base, and further secured by taking advantage of the Kensington slot. It folds down to a 6 x 6″ footprint when not in use.
